How to connect to Amazon Alexa

This article is for the first generation Atmoph Window.

By adding Atmoph's Alexa skill, you can control Atmoph Window via voice control, for example, like this: "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window to show another view." To connect your Atmoph Window to Amazon Alexa, complete the setup from both your Atmoph Window device and the Amazon Alexa app.

Setup on Atmoph Window

First, you will need an Atmoph account. Only one Atmoph Window per Atmoph account can be controlled via Amazon Alexa. If you don't have an account, refer to How to create an Account.

On Atmoph Window, go to Menu > Settings > Account > Service Integration > Amazon Alexa

Select Connect.

 
This Atmoph Window should now be controllable with Amazon Alexa.

How to set up Amazon Alexa

1. Open the Amazon Alexa app and tap the top left corner.
2. From the pop out menu, select Skills.
3. Search for "Atmoph" from the app's search box.
4. When you find Atmoph's skill, select it and go to the details.
5. Select Enable Skill.

The first time you enable a skill, you're required to sign into your Atmoph account to link it with your Amazon account. Once this setup is complete, you will not have to sign in again.

To sign into your Atmoph account, input your email address. An email with a 4-digit code will be automatically sent to you. Once you receive the email, enter the code provided.

Then select Authorize.

• Turning the window on/off
  "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window to turn on."

• Changing the view
  "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window to show another view."
  "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window to show a view of France."
  "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window to show a view that's dark."

• Calendar
  "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window to show me the schedule this month."
  "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window what're my plans today."
  "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window to hide the calendar."

• Clock
  "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window to show me the clock."
  "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window to hide the clock."

• Weather
  "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window to show me the weather."
  "Alexa, ask Atmoph Window to hide the weather."
