A system update for Atmoph Window Yo is released on March 4th, 2025. We will provide details about the update contents and the update procedure.
Update details (Ver. 1.2.4)
We have released a new system update (v1.2.4) with the following improvements and fixes.
Key Updates
- Improved Bluetooth connection stability
- Fixed an issue where numbers were not displayed properly when creating a Panorama group
- Enhanced operational stability of Atmoph Scope when using Panorama mode
- Fixed an issue where Atmoph Scope had difficulty pairing
- Fixed an issue where SoundOnly mode was unintentionally disabled
- Fixed an issue where Sleep mode was unintentionally disabled
- Fixed an issue where some locations, such as Hong Kong, could not be set in the weather forecast
- Fixed a crash issue that could occur while browsing Views
- Fixed an issue in the Daily Routine feature where actions such as "App ON/OFF" and "Playlist playback" might not work
- Added a "space" theme to Soundscape
- Added a "Random Encounters" category to Views
- Adjusted brightness gradation of Sunlight Bar
- Fixed an issue where the screen could become too dark when switching landscapes
- Other minor bug fixes, UI adjustments, and overall stability improvements
How to update
Atmoph Window Yo has two types of updates, both of which are included in this update.
- OS update: updates to more basic areas such as Wi-Fi/Bluetooth communication
- System update: updates to the application that plays the View
Also, the following updates will be made at the same time.

New firmware for Atmoph Scope (1.0.33): Fixed issues where reconnection may fail and instability may occur during Panorama usage.
- Smartphone app for iOS (2.3.1): Fixes an issue where Bluetooth connections may increase unnecessarily when using the application.
How to update the system for Atmoph Window Yo
The system update is basically performed automatically, but you can also update it manually by going to MENU > System > Update on Atmoph Window Yo.
Update the system to the latest version first, as this system update is required to perform the OS update described below.
If you have updated to version 1.2.4 or later, this update has been applied.
How to update the OS for Atmoph Window Yo
The OS update for Atmoph Window Yo does not require any manual action from users. Update is automatically installed, and this is to prevent widespread issues in case of unexpected problems with the update process.
After updating the system to 1.2.4 or later following the instructions in “How to update the system for Atmoph Window Yo” above, an update check will be performed every 48 hours, and the OS update will be installed automatically. Keep your Atmoph Window Yo connected to the internet and wait for the OS update to be applied.
Rest assured, all your settings (widgets, daily routine settings, etc.) and account information will remain intact throughout the update process.
There is no on-screen indication while an update is in progress. Once the data download and verification are complete, the unit will automatically reboot.
To check if the OS has been successfully updated, go to MENU > Settings > General > Info and check “Version”. If the version is 00750020 or later, the OS update has been completed. (For reference, 00700010 is an older version.)
How to update the firmware for Atmoph Scope
With Atmoph Scope paired, you can update the firmware for Atmoph Scope from MENU > Settings > Atmoph Scope on Atmoph Window Yo. (As of March 4th, the latest version is 1.0.33.)
Since Atmoph Scope is not automatically updated, make sure that Atmoph Window Yo system and OS updates have been performed before updating the firmware for Atmoph Scope.
If you are unable to pair Atmoph Scope, try the following procedure.
- Check that the “OS Update” and “System Update” in this page are ready.
- Fully charge Atmoph Scope. It may take about 2 hours.
- Go to MENU > Settings > Atmoph Scope to proceed to pairing settings.
- Press and hold the power button on Atmoph Scope for at least 6 seconds to enter pairing mode. The LED flashes blue when in pairing mode.
If Atmoph Scope does not go into pairing mode after following this procedure, for example the LED does not flash blue, it may be an initial failure and please contact to contact@atmoph.com.
How to update your smartphone app (iOS)
Check here and update your Atmoph Window Remote app to 2.3.1 or later.
