    Hi Manfred Schwarz

Thank you for reaching out! We are so glad to hear that you are already preparing for the Upload feature.

As for Upload, it may change but we're trying to support basic formats such as mov, mp4 files with H.264 encoding, up to 1080p, less than 10 minutes duration.

It is still currently under development, and uploaded videos are supposed to be available only in a single window, not in Panorama. We like to remove this limitation in the future but as this is a kind of not-so-easy task, it may take some time.

If you are unsure of anything, feel free to ask!

    Thank you for your answer.

When you write 1080p (normally width 1920 and height 1080 pixels) do you mean in case of Window 2: width 1080 and height 1920 pixels?

    All the best,

    Manfred

In addition to the above question, will we be able to upload 4K in the future, as it's a 4K screen?

Hi Manfred Schwarz and Brian Folan,

Yes, for uploading your videos to the Atmoph Window, the videos must be vertical.

As the Atmoph Window's screen is Full HD (1080P), it won't be supporting 4K as it is.
We are considering a way to be able to support various formats of videos, so look forward to it :)

    Thanks!

Oh - so where the campaign said that the videos were originally recorded in 4K; it should have said that they were recorded in 4K and only displayed in HD.

I think it is an advantage to record the movie in 4k in landscape format and cut 3 parts of full HD in portrait format for a panorama. This should be possible without a lost of resolution.

    Hi

The videos are originally filmed in 4K and down-converted to Full HD, which makes the videos into a much better quality in the display :)
We have now shifted all the filming to 6K, so it will be beautiful even more.

Actually yes, we are doing this for the Panorama views!

    Thank you for your comments!
