Panorama Mode Displaying Multiple Scenes At Same Time
Anyone else having issues with three panels constantly getting out of sync on auto mode and end up displaying two or three different scenes at the same time, on auto mode in panorama mode? I have to constantly de-group and re-group the panels and reboot but it happens again not long after. It seems this comes and goes as some days there's been no problems and other days it happens over and over.

Hi Tim,
Thank you for using Atmoph Window 2 as Panorama. When your panorama group is not syncing, we would appreciate if you could check the status of your panorama by going MENU > Settings > General > Panorama. Also, please note that when the views which are not downloaded to Atmoph Window 2 are shown on the windows, it may take some time to sync views.
We've also got some requests about stability of the panorama feature. We're now trying to improve it for all the users to enjoy the panorama views more comfortable.Atmoph

Yes the panorama group is still grouped. It just a stability issue with the three devices communicating separately to your service to retrieve the required views and sometimes pulling back a different view or getting stuck on the current view while the other two devices in the panorama group communicate to your server and pull down the next view. Again as I mentioned I believe this is a problem in the communication protocol approach of having three separate devices each trying to communicate individually and somehow coordinate them to sync up as well. I still believe you need to explore having a slave/master in the panorama set up with one panel doing the communicating to download all of the required views and then serve the left and right panel via bluetooth their required portion of the view so that 1) there is less of the issue of communication break down with multiple devices trying to coordinate separate communication calls and 2) download times varying between the three devices causing some panels to be stuck while others are moving, and 3) will help with sync issues as well since the view is one download and then served locally. This should be doable via a firmware upgrade and since the master panel controls the other panels while in group mode I assume they communicate via bluetooth already when grouped or via wifi when on the same network so there should be no issue with using one panel to serve data to the other two panels with the existing architecture. I think even if download times increased a little bit but sync issues were remedied this would be worth exploring. This would also provide capability for serving larger aka longer view files to the panels expanding to perhaps 30 minute views instead of 15 minutes if they were a single download via a center master panel and served locally. Something to think about.

Also, keep in mind some customers could experience some network latency issues through no fault of their own too. Having a single download versus three will also alleviate some of the stutter and disjointed sync issue between panels in panorama mode for that too. With one download, the user will only have to deal with one file being downloaded. Meanwhile, you should explore having views downloaded in the background while the current view continues to play and not switch until the next view is fully downloaded. Since your on board storage is meant to be large enough to hold more than one view, this should be doable. This would also be a huge increase for user experience. Instead of dealing with frozen screens or stuttering images or out of sync views for 5 to 30 minutes waiting for the next view to download, the user would have a seamless experience with the next view playing once fully downloaded eliminating all those issues. Truly this would be a giant leap forward. At least something to incorporate in version 3 if you cant or won't in this current version 2. If you added an option for users to add a memory card to expand on board memory perhaps that could keep costs on your end down too,
