I was just thinking that intigration of something like Samsung SmartThings. However SmartThings being the most universal of the automation systems and it having Google Home and Amazon Alexa combatibility one vould key comands with both Voice comands to change the image displayed, presence sensors to control the power to the display, and IFTTT triggers to display certain videos or live streams for many different reasons. You could have IFTTT triggers for weather, time of day, holidays or festivals. It would add almost unlimited functionality.

  Home automation has come a long way in 2017, I would also appreciate IFTT or Google home support

  I just tried the change view trigger on IFTTT (via Google home) and the provided service fails. This should get fixed.
